Shipping Policy

Lakeland Gear Inc. ships your packages fast, accurately, and at a fair price. Products usually ship the same or the next day as your order, Monday-Friday (excluding Holidays). Rightline Gear products are shipped from Asheville, NC. The chart below shows ground UPS shipping from Asheville to the rest of the country. Many of our other products are shipped from remote warehouses located in different time zones across the US. When placing your order, please leave us your daytime phone number so that we can reach you if necessary. Please note: We do not process or ship orders on Saturdays and Sundays. When placing your order, please enter a physical address as some carriers are unable to deliver to a Post Office (PO) Box.

To Calculate Your Shipping Costs: Use our handy Shipping Calculator located in the side menu on the left.  Put your Zip Code in the box and press Calculate.

Free Shipping: Lakeland Gear offers free ground shipping within the continental United States for a variety of products on our site. Free Shipping will show as an option to select during the checkout process. Our free shipping offers change over time, so please take advantage when you see the free shipping logo attached to your favorite products.



Shipping Notification and Tracking: You will receive two emails when you order: the first confirms your order and the second provides a tracking number. If you receive a message that the tracking number is not available, it means that your order has been processed for shipping, but no tracking number was available at that time. Please call us if you would like to receive the number when it becomes available. Check the status of your package(s) by inserting the tracking number on the carrier website.

Express Shipping Options: We ship via ground service which will take between 1 and 5 business days to reach you, depending on the distance between your location and our warehouse.  The shipping cost depends on the package size, weight, and the shipping option chosen. We offer overnight, 2 day, and 3 day express shipping.  Lakeland Gear Inc. is not able to guarantee that any carrier will meet their advertised shipping service.

Large Items Shipped by Commercial Truck Lines: Some large items can only be shipped by commercial truck line and, therefore, do not have express shipping options. The commercial truck line will call you to schedule a delivery. If you refuse or miss a scheduled delivery by a commercial truck line, you will be liable for the outgoing and return shipping charges in addition to a 25% restocking fee. We also strongly recommend that you inspect your box and product while the driver is still on your property. A shipping claim is extremely difficult to file if the driver himself has not acknowledged the reported damage.

International Shipping
We have partnered with International Checkout, a parcel and mail forwarding service.  Simply click on the International Shipping button during your checkout process.  This will take you directly to the International Shipping portal.  Your order will finish processing with International Checkout.  They will receive your purchases in their warehouse, consolidate the items and then ship to you. Canadian customers should also use International Checkout.
International Shipping Information

Out of Stock and Back-Ordered Items: While we make every effort to have featured merchandise in stock, occasionally, we run out of certain products. If you place an order for a product that is back-ordered, we will contact you immediately to propose a solution, give you a time expectation, and possibly recommend an equivalent product that may work for you instead.

Problems in Shipping: If any carrier makes a change to the address that you provide us, they may charge an additional fee. In placing an order with us, you are agreeing to be billed this same amount at a later date without notification if a wrong address has been provided. Please make sure you enter your correct address initially with apartment or unit numbers specified. We will take full responsibility if we make a mistake in order address entry. Refunds are not possible if a carrier makes a mistake and delivers to the incorrect address.

If your package is damaged in shipment, please contact us to begin the claim process. We will instruct you on next steps.
