The Inno Boardlocker is the ultimate roof top surfboard carrier.  It loads easy, secures your board and locks!  The rubber-coated stainless steel straps lay over your boards and are secured by a ratcheting mechanism.  It attaches to the crossbars with clamps that don't require any tools.  The lock not only locks the straps that hold your board, but at the same time it locks the lever attached to the crossbars.
