1. Choose The Correct Hitch Cargo Carrier Frame Type

You have 4 choices in Stowaway2 Hitch Cargo Carrier Frames: basic fixed frame, raised fixed frame, towing fixed frame, and swing away. The swing away frames are most often used on SUVs and other vehicles that require access to a rear lift door. The fixed frames are most often used on RVs and other vehicles where rear access is not important. The basic fixed frame can be used on vehicles whose hitch receiver is far off the ground. The towing fixed frame allows you to tow a trailer and still use your Hitch Mount Cargo Carrier. 

2. Choose The Correct Size Hitch Cargo Carrier

There are two different sizes of Stowaway2 Hitch Cargo Carriers: Standard and Max. The Standard Hitch Carriers are 12.5 cu ft and measure 49" L x 21" W x 24" H. The Max Hitch Carriers are 16 cu ft and measure 51" W x 21" W x 26" H. The inside dimensions of each carrier are approximately 2" smaller in all directions.

3. Choose The Desired Accessory Package

Basic Hitch Cargo Carriers - The Basic Fixed Hitch Cargo Carrier comes with the basic fixed frame, a Standard Cargo Carrier, and reflectors instead of tail lights. It is the least expensive of all of the Cargo Carriers. 

Plus Accessory Package - This accessory package includes a Locking Hitch Pin and LED Tail Lights to replace the standard Incandescent Tail Lights. The Plus Package goes with the Standard or the Max Cargo Carriers, either with a swing away or fixed frame. Look for the word "Plus" in the product name to identify that this accessory package is included.

Total Package - This accessory package includes a Locking Hitch Pin/Bike Cable Lock Combo, LED Tail Lights to replace the standard Incadescent Tail Lights, and an interchangeable 4 Bike Rack/Cargo Rack. The Total Package goes with the Standard or the Max Cargo Carriers with a swing away or fixed frame. Look for the word "Total" in the product name to identify that this accessory package is included.

Tailgate Package - This accessory package includes a Locking Hitch Pin, LED Tail Lights to replace the standard Incadescent Tail Lights, Wrap-around Colored Reflectors to replace the standard red reflectors, and an Interior Cutting Board. The Tailgate Package goes with the Max Cargo Carriers only with a swing away or fixed frame. Look for the word "Tailgate" in the product name to identify that this accessory package is included.

4. Choose Additional StowAway2 Accesories

5. Consider Any Clearance Issues
