Mounting: Factory Side Rails or Naked Roof
The Surco Safari Roof Basket just flat out carries what you need to take. This is one tough car top basket, with a 5" deep basket and aluminum square tubing. It's easy to install and secures all your gear, all at a great price. Unlike our other roof baskets, the Surco Safari Roof Basket comes with its own roof rack cross bars designed to attach to the rack.

To select the Right Safari Rack size and Adapter follow the steps below:
1. Use the Surco Fit Guide to find
a. The roof cargo basket sizes for your vehicle (some vehicles have more than (1))
b. The mounting adapter (feet) for your vehicle (will attach cargo basket and cross bars to your vehicle)
2. Enter the part numbers for the roof cargo basket and the adapter in the two drop down menus above.
Please contact us if you have any questions. Add Safari Accessories like the Shovel Adapter and Flooring Kit, and take your Safari Rack all the way! You could also remove the basket and use the crossbars for a car top carrier or bike rack.
